Goodbye Dad

Goodbye Dad

Trevor Beal – 1953 to 2007.

On December 28th I received the sad news from England that my dad had died of a sudden heart attack – he would have turned just 54 the next day.

The next few weeks will be very tough. The police are investigating the connection with a senseless road rage beating my dad suffered two weeks ago. Until they determine if there is a link–and subsequent manslaughter charges–they won’t release my dad’s body or issue a death certificate.

I’m flying to England on Jan 1st to be with my mum and siblings for a few days and plan the funeral. I’ll probably be a mess for the next few weeks, so bear with me if I don’t get back to your emails or drop the ball on something.

I miss you dad, and love you very much.

    3. Andy,

This is probably the hardest thing to go through in life and I wish there were something that could be said to make this easier on you, or to reduce your pain. Instead, I wish you strength, peace and joy in the wonderful memories you hold of your dad.

    4. Very sorry to hear of your loss Andy. Loss of parents and grands is very hard attacked news. You may lose any thing, you can buy again, but lose parents never buy. Its bad news that police won’t release your dad’s body or issue a death certificate. May God bless you and make easy your life!

I’m deeply sorry to hear about your loss, especially at such a time of year but I’m sure he is in a better place.
